The Center for Excellence in Education (CEE) was founded in 1983 with the intention of nurturing careers of excellence and leadership in science and technology in young scholars as an essential investment into the global future. CEE programs help maintain competitiveness in science and technology while furthering international collaboration among world leaders. The Center challenges students and provides long term assistance to help them become the creators, inventors, scientists, and leaders of the 21st century.

The BIO Olympiad Initiative USA Asia (BIOUS), also known as the USA Bio Olympiad in the United States, enriches the life science education of nearly 11,000 talented students annually. BIOUS focuses on stimulating the intellectual curiosity of young scholars and developing critical thinking in laboratory skills and biological reasoning to propel them toward careers of excellence and leadership in science and technology. The initiative provides students with the motivation, curricular resources, and skills training necessary to take them beyond the classroom experience to a level of international competitiveness.
