    Grade 4-8: Junior (Grade 4), Intermediate (Grade 5-6), and Senior (Grade 7-8)

Chief Mathematician for the Australian Maths Trust

Dr. Chris, who holds a PhD in Mathematics from the Australian National University (ANU) and serves as the Chief Mathematician at the Australian Mathematics Trust (AMT), brings fifteen years of mathematics teaching experience. He has contributed to specialized mathematics courses in the ANU Extension program and is a recipient of the 2020 B.H. Neumann Award.
His involvement with the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) began in 2011 as a volunteer marker. He later joined both the AMC Secondary Problems Committee and the Australian Mathematics Olympiad Committee.
Dr. Chris further expanded his contributions by serving on the AMC Primary Problems Committee, the Senior Problems Committee, and the Computational and Algorithmic Thinking (CAT) Committee.

Dr. Geoff Smith has served as the Head Coach for the British Mathematical National Team 15 times and was elected twice as the IMO President from 2014 to 2022. During the COVID-19, Dr. Geoff Smith played a crucial role in designing a remote examination system, ensuring the continuity of the IMO competition globally.
Dr. Geoff Smith is the founder of the European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad and organized the inaugural event at the University of Cambridge in 2012.

The President of the Austrian Math Kangaroo Association

Robert Geretschläger was a teacher of Mathematics and Geometry at BRG Kepler in Graz, Austria for four decades. In this time, he was also active in teacher training, curriculum development and writing textbooks. Most of all, he was also active in organising math competitions and training students for participation. He was either Deputy Leader or Leader of the Austrian team at the International Mathematical Olympiad from the year 2000 until 2023 and responsible for the introduction of the Math Kangaroo in Austria in 1996. He is the President of the Austrian Math Kangaroo Association, a member of the Board of AKSF (the Association Kangourou sans Frontières) and is the current president of the WFNMC (World Federation of National Mathematics Competitions).

1、Can the students bring a calculator to AMC?
Calculators are allowed for students sitting the Middle Primary and Upper Primary papers. Just simple Calculators can be used in Middle Primary and Upper Primary. Junior, Intermediate and Senior papers: NO calculators, maths stencils, mobile phones or other calculating aids are permitted.
2、Refund policy
If, for some reason, the student is unable to attend after paying the fee, please contact us. If you apply before the registration deadline, 25% of the registration fee will be deducted as academic materials and service fees. If you apply after the registration deadline, no refund will be given.
