Introduction
Established in 1996, the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust (UKMT) is the largest mathematics assessment organization in the UK, providing a wide range of nationally accredited mathematics assessments to over 700,000 students in more than 6,000 schools each year.
Mathematical Olympiad for Girls (MOG) is one of the UKMT's series of assessments designed for girls to increase female participation in math assessments. The UKMT believes that the Olympiad should not just be a game for boys and to encourage more girls to study math, it has created the MOG for girls in grades 10/year 11 and above. Currently over 5,000 students in the UK register for the UKMT-MOG each year, attracting more and more female students to participate.
